Tasting notes
Deep ruby, tending towards brick. Intense aroma that evolves from violet and dried rosehip to notes of tar and ends in an ethereal, very distinctive bouquet. On the palate, it confirms what it shows on the nose: harmonious, full and very persistent.

Meet the producer
Cantina Sant’Evasio is in the San Nicolao cru, in Nizza Monferrato, and takes its name from an 18th-century chapel dedicated to the bishop of Casale; the cascina and land were bought by Carlo Lacqua in the 1960s. Now in its third generation, the Lacqua family (Piero, Anna, Andrea and Emanuela) farms ten hectares of vines around the winery, with Barbera d’Asti as the main wine.
