Parras Wines
Parras Wines was founded in 2010 by Luís Vieira, with roots in 1998, and is based in Alcobaça. It works its own vineyards in the Lisbon region, at Quinta do Gradil (Cadaval, 120 hectares planted), and in the Alentejo, at the Herdades da Candeeira and da Vigia, bought at the end of 2014; with local partners, it produces wines from six regions. In 2020 it was named Company of the Year by Revista de Vinhos.

History
- 1998Luís Vieira founds the bulk wine company that gives rise to the group.
- 1999Quinta do Gradil begins operating, in Vilar, Cadaval: 200 hectares, 120 of them vineyard.
- 2010Parras Vinhos is founded by Luís Vieira.
- 2014Purchase of the Herdades da Candeeira (70 ha of vineyard) and da Vigia (140 ha), in the Alentejo.
- 2016The brand is renamed Parras Wines.
- 2020Company of the Year by Revista de Vinhos; Quinta do Gradil is Producer of the Year by Grandes Escolhas.
