Tasting notes
Intense, deep red, tending towards garnet with ageing. Clear, warm aroma, with blackcurrant jam and plum, followed by notes of pepper and vanilla. On the palate, it has an excellent attack and a pleasantly spicy warmth. Marked structure, with acidity, salinity and light tannins in balance, and a long, pleasurable finish.
