Medium-concentration red, ruby-violet in colour. Expressive aroma of fresh red fruit, strawberry and raspberry, over a spiced background recalling cinnamon. Light on the palate, with fresh fruit, vibrant tannins and generous acidity, in a balanced, inviting whole.

Meet the producer

Adega Mayor opened its doors in 2007 at Herdade das Argamassas, in Campo Maior, and presents itself as the first signature winery in Portugal: the building is by architect Siza Vieira. It was born from a dream of Rui Nabeiro, founder of Delta, and realised with his granddaughter Rita Nabeiro; the property extends over 350 hectares of montado, riverside galleries and farmland.
