Meet the producer
Quinta da Pacheca is in Cambres, Lamego, in the heart of the Douro’s first Pombaline demarcation: its vineyards are documented since 1551 and the name “Pacheca” appears in 1738. Bought in 1903 by D. José Freire de Serpa Pimentel, it began selling DOC wines under its own brand in 1977 and opened to wine tourism in 1995; since 2012 it has belonged to the families of Paulo Pereira and Maria do Céu Gonçalves.
